Edible Landscaping
For us at Eden on Earth a good part of sustainable and ecological living means producing for our own needs.  This means our landscapes besides being beautiful need to also pull their own weight.  For example, a garden can also act as wildlife habitat for hummingbirds and at the same time provide food for its human residents.  Edible landscapes can provide fresh seasonal fruit, salad greens, edible flowers, plants for tea, and many different cooking herbs.  The garden itself does not be high maintance nor does it need to be linear.  In fact we design edible landscapes to be visually stunning and mimic nature.
